This coffee comes from Huehuetenango’s Santa Barbara region and is comprised of a small number of microlots grown by several smallholders within the Tojchiguel locality, each producer growing on no more than two hectares. Until recently, these microlots had been sold and incorporated into larger regional blends. We’re now fortunate enough to get our hands on coffee from just the producers within Tojchiguel, allowing us to highlight the effort of growers within this small community.

This coffee consists mainly of Bourbon and Typica varieties, and exhibits qualities typical of coffees from Huehuetenango, producing a balanced cup with subtle notes of citrus. We taste panela, bergamot, apricot jelly.
